Ready to learn about the Heart Chakra and feel great?!
The heart chakra, also known as Anahata in Sanskrit, is one of the seven main energy centers or "chakras" in the human body. These chakras are believed to be points of energy that play a role in various aspects of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest, near the heart, and is associated with the color green. It is considered the bridge between the lower three chakras, which are associated with the material world, and the upper three chakras, which are associated with the spiritual realm.
The heart chakra is thought to be responsible for emotions, love, compassion, forgiveness, and connection with others. When the heart chakra is balanced and open, it is believed to contribute to a sense of love, harmony, and compassion. On the other hand, if the heart chakra is blocked or imbalanced, it may lead to issues such as emotional instability, difficulty forming meaningful connections, or a lack of self-love.
Various practices, such as meditation, yoga, and energy healing, are often used to balance and activate the heart chakra, promoting emotional and spiritual well-being. Each chakra is associated with specific qualities, and balancing these energy centers is believed to contribute to overall health and harmony.

Self Love
The next step we focus on is self love. Today we will set the intention to open ourselves up to love. Love for ourselves and for all of the beings around us.

Using the above quote from Don Miguel Ruiz (author of The Four Agreements and also the Mastery of Love) as our inspiration, reflect on the following:
- Journal Prompt #2 will focus on radical self acceptance and love. Start by journaling kind things about yourself. I'm serious :) Write all about the things you like about YOU.
- Ask yourself, how that experience was for you. For many of us, it is really hard to radically accept and love ourselves. And, at the same time self acceptance and love is so important.
- Once you are done, ask your higher self to help you set an intention today for self love. Namaste.
